Our biggest fundraiser of the year has become our Pie Social.  It has been around for a long time as well, but the pies have improved – or at least gotten more expensive!  It is because the Pie Auction has done so well that we have started alternating years for the Chicken BBQ & Pig Roast.  People from the congregation bring pies to auction. 

When the fundraiser first started, we even had homemade ice cream!  That is still a treat on occasion! Members of the church team up to auction off the pies.  You had better not scratch your head or wave to your friend across the room or they will take your bid.  After all the pies are auctioned, most of them are shared and devoured while enjoying great fellowship.  We look forward to this event every year.
